His dedication, and determination in the face of a cutthroat industry had finally paid off with a half page shot of some goober in the halfpipe. It’s funny looking back now on what a big deal that was–but everyone has to start somewhere. I remember it, because that shot was of me. </font> <br /> <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Born and raised in the armpit of civilization, the Inland Empire of Southern California, Jeff broke north to Mammoth after one too many sketchy situations. Soon after, his punk rock roots landed him with a crew of the areas finest delinquents, who also happened to be some of the best riders around. It was these beginnings in the heyday of Mammoth’s park where Jeff crafted his art.</font> <br /> <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">These days that same “at all cost” attitude has established Jeff as one of the premier photographers in the industry, landing gigs with snowboarding’s elite. Working closely ever since those early days it’s been a treat to see Curley move on to bigger and better things. A very capable guy to have in your crew, Jeff makes the sometimes tense days in the backcountry a little easier with his sense of humor and willingness to work that much harder to get the perfect shot.
